This special concert features the jazz sounds of the 50’s, and the soulful sounds of the 60’s.  We pay special tribute to Nat King Cole, whose smooth and well-articulated vocal style scored him numerous hits, with songs such as Nature Boy, Mona Lisa, Route 66, and Unforgettable.  His popularity paved the way for the iconic 60’s artists that would follow him, like The Temptations and The Four Tops.  With hits like My Girl, The Way You Do The Things You Do, Get Ready, Just My Imagination and Can’t Help Myself, their blend of soul and funk made Motown the most successful record company of their time, and helped to create a thriving music community.
